Nomination
Official nomination for "Raise the Flag for the Oceans" can be started with and accepted only by world leaders: presidents, prime ministers, members of royal family - prince and princess, kings and queens.
The official nomination can only take place once the nominee or nominator has agreed with the WhiteFlag International CEO to accept the White Flag official standard procedures and standards of ocean clean up, which are logistically organized by WhiteFlag International diving inspectors, oriented to clean up the area of the ocean where the White Flag will be raised. The choice of marine areas of nomination is made by the president’s office or the ministry of environment or tourism. The chosen area for nomination must be approved by WhiteFlag International official.

The award ceremony protocol is provided by WhiteFlag International after the scouting of the site which is necessary to determine the local area surroundings and access to technical support on the site.
The nominated president, prime minster or other is the official individual who is receiving the White Flag and raising it on the pole. The White Flag must be officially awarded to nominee by high-level official WhiteFlag International representative - CEO, President, Vice President or Head of department. The complete procedure and standards of the official ceremony are provided by WhiteFlag international shortly after the nomination with the clear instructions and guidelines.
